Website Design / CMS (Content Management Systems)

The rates listed below are a guide only. It is best to contact our offices and speak to someone to ascertain exactly what you need and the costs involved. You may also be pleased to discover that we may be able to help you with many other elements of designing and developing your website that you may not have considered and possibly save you more time and money.

1. a) Single Page Brochure Style Website From Template £150
This is a good entry level website to at least give your business web presence. We can add some content about your business, products/services, your business logo* and contact details, including an email link.
*(we can design your logo for you if you do not already have one)

If you have just started a business it is always a good idea to think about and buy a domain name as soon as possible. If your business booms you would not want to find your domain name has already been bought by someone else, maybe even by your competitor.

b) Single Page Brochure Style Website Bespoke Design £250
There are literally thousands of templates for you to choose from and once you add your own images, words and business logo, it normally looks completely different from the original template. However, if you desire your own bespoke design we can work with you to incorporate your business branding into the website design.

2. a) Multi-page Website (up to 15 pages) From Template £300+
This is a basic website with four or five pages such as Home, About Us, Products/Services, Contact Us, Enquiry Form, etc. Once again, your company logo would be incorporated to make the site resemble your business branding.

Not many businesses need more than this and we may be able to throw some extras in for free, depending on the complexity and time required to implement, of course. However, we can add almost any functionality you could possibly require should you need it, i.e. Newsletters, Video, Forums, Picture Galleries, Online Shops, etc.

NOTE: We normally build these sites using what is referred to as a CMS (Content Management System) website. This gives you the benefit of being able to grow your website as your business grows and, should you wish in the future, take control of the website and publish your own articles/pages, create new menus/links, add new images, plus much more. What’s more, addming those new articles and creating new menus is as easy as using MS Word.

b) Multi-page Website (up to 15 pages) Bespoke Design £500+
We offer the same service as above, except we will design the site from the beginning and completely unique to incorporate your business branding and styles.

There is a lot more work involved with this than meets the eye, but we work well with understanding people’s ideas and imaginations and turning those ideas into a professional, well constructed and effective website.

As in the “NOTE” above, we usually build these sites using a content managed system, giving you the added possibility of being able to easily scale the website as your business grows.

3. Content Managed System Website £500+
A CMS website makes it easier for people to create, edit and publish content on a website. Historically, website publishing has required significant technical skills (HTML, programming). A good CMS allows non-technical authors and editors to easily and quickly publish their content.

You can also quickly and easily create and publish new menus/links on the site and yet at the same time maintain a consistent information architecture (metadata, classification, navigation, search, layout and design). Inconsistent and poorly designed information architectures plague many websites.

The world (wide web) is your oyster with a CMS website as you can literally add anything you could imagine to it if your so desired. Check out a partial list of what is available to you with a CMS website here.

4. Basic Ecommerce Website £800+
Perhaps you require a site like the above but you also need to sell a single item or very small number of items online using Paypal or a similar payment processing service? Or perhaps you need to take variable payments online for services you provide?

5. Comprehensive Ecommerce Website with Admin Area £1200+
We can design a full Ecommerce website (online shop) with a shopping cart, online credit card payment system and a user friendly website administration area that will allow you to input your own stock, change prices, etc. The admin area is accessible via your internet browser.
Note: Content management systems (CMS) are not without their problems. Sometimes users have problems using the CMS and have to ask us to sort things out for them. This of course means that it can get expensive. We do however offer a cheaper see 7. below or this alternative to CMS.

7. Interactive Websites, Forums, Membership, Employment Agencies, Estate Agencies, Subscription Websites, etc. £1500+
We cannot really put an estimated price on websites like these since complex features are often requested that can make the cost of one significantly more than another. All we can say is that most of them would probably be in the range of £2000.

8. Website Maintenance, Updates and Modifications
If you don’t want to be burdened with the hassle of managing your website, keeping it up to date against the latest security threats, adding new content/images, etc. we can look after that for you in one of two well priced monthly packages.

We can provide basic hosting for £49 per annum (1 MySQL database max).
